There were no changes in the rules !!
We discussed the "Logo" at length and several times... Still a "work in progress".
We talked about "driving our cars to the track and right to the starting line during the "big show" June 20th (opening the rear gate by the tower)... We would meet up about 2 miles away and drive in as a group and race !! We did this in 1996 and it was awesome.
We talked buying 10,000 tickets with PRO E85 RACING on the back for the 4 big US41 shows. It would cost each member $50.00 and they would receive 125 tickets for each race. This would be great for potential sponsors... What do you guys think ??
T shirts, crew shirts and windshield banners are still open topics but we need to make a choice and have them for the first race.
May 2nd Test and Tune day at US 41... Who is going to be ready ?? I made a list but please let us know if you are going to be there with your car on E85.
Overall this was a good meeting and everybody involved seems very positive.
This will be a good class and alot of fun !!
Thank you,
Duane aka Orange Crusher

Yea the logo and banners need done quick in order to procure anything prior to May 16th. I am good with the banner being the one PK did with the addition of "racing" to it in the post. This way the green/yellow amount is very limited, wont break a car's paint scheme too bad, etc. I say go with it and be done. We cant be wishy washy anymore folks. Duane put the gavel down! Dont give me that "it aint my decison", every group has to have a leader :yup:LOL. As far as logo goes, thats tough, and probly not in the window of design and procure shirts for the 16th. Now for the 20th race, we canmake that, but a logo needs done. We got some concept starters out there. Any mor info as to what was discussed?

Would we unload there then take trailers onto grounds and setup, or unload the cars at teh track, drive to the rendevous, then drive back? Sounds cool as hell to me, just asking the particulars.

(Sounds like a money idea that Sheep had to do with LOL) I think this is a good idea IF the potential sponsors were being very potential. Right now it doesnt seem there are many being open this year..at least from what I have been seeing. $50 aint much, but for some it could make or break attending an event. I can go either way on this idea. Pros and cons, of course.

I'm not too picky on the logo, I like the design that was posted earlier.
I LOVE the idea of driving in together. Mine's a completely legal street car on DOT's, so I don't have a problem with it.
As for the ticket idea. It sounds good, but we live far away from the track and getting people around here to drive 2.5 hours might be tough to do. Probably the only people we would get to come see us race would be the ones we could stuff in the truck with us.
I should be ready for the tnt in May. As long as the carb conversion goes ok. I'm ready to go make my first runs for the year and after that I'll be ready to change over to the corn juice.
