For those of you who find it funny about me junking out my motor enjoy yourselves and have a good time. Don`t blame the engine builder he told me not to run it. It had 3 hurt pistons from my tune up last wed night. I took some timing out of it fixed what I had wrong in fuel delivery and tried to get by. Still ran 8.93 at 149mph blowing up before the traps. Last minute rules change will make impossible to be there next week end. Denny thanks the track was great, bathrooms were clean, and you did the best you could with how the weather worked out. Comping all those parking tickets was a class move! Butch do not worry you can probably get past that little 400cu.in. pick up now that its broke. You owe Mike Kasparian the engine builder a big I am Sorry for shooting my mouth off with out knowing what I was talking about!!

YES we have been offered a motor and I have the old 383 short block that could have been put together but because of the rules change we just let it set. Thanks Larry

Running rain dates. We ask to run rain dates at the first of the year and we all were told no. That it would have to be discussed over the winter at our meetings and decide how we would want to go about it. But all of a sudden we are now running a rain date.:think::think:

Larry this is a club thing. Doesn't have anything to do with us. PRO E85 does there own thing. It is your guys choice to race Saturday. We have 6 other classes that needed those points.
With how bad the weather has been this season it is the only right thing to do. Only reason your pissed off is because the motor is broke. Tell the truth:rolleyes:
I dont believe this is a club thing at all. I believe it was stated that we were not going to be given rain dates.......not sure, that has been a while so I could be mistaken, but that is how I remember it. We dont make the schedule, you do. Regardless, with all the bad weather for the year, the points series would have came down to a 3 race deal basically, and thats not really a good thing either. So I can see both sides. We were told we would not have rain dates and now we have one. Is that a bad thing, no I dont think so, but it is a change per what we were told before. Bad cards dealt this year led to this, and I can understand the reasoning to have a rain date.
I vote PRO E85 stay home just to make Larry happy:)
This statement is/was ridiculous

More truth! Kinda like when you post up things you have no clue about Mike.
It was meant to be ridiculous / but also at the same time if you guys want to complain about it then end your points now, and the top 8 can show up for the track championship Oct 9.
So yes Mike (High Roller) it is a club decision!
I don't understand the problem? I thought you guys were a democracy lol. So take a vote. Race or don't race.
Fact of the matter is if Nagy would of not hurt his engine he wouldn't be crying about it now.
I also no he would of voted to do the make up race because 97% always do. :n2o:
I know I am wasting my time but WTF!?!?!?! Lets talk truth...
I posted supporting your decision on the rain date. true?.....and yes I stated that statement was ridiculous because it was not called for (you can defend that I am sure)...and no one suggested not coming. true? WTF?!?!?!...
Other than that I stated WE cannot make rain dates, only u can...we dont make the schedule nor can we change it....true?
thats it, thats all I said...you are so defensive that you cannot take anything the right way....another instance of my previous comments on NOT being able to work with you.....
So Deny (Dogg), sorry if i offended you, but that is your own fault cuz I was actually supporting your decision...

Not pissed about the motor. My call to chance it bad call. We are 7th in points and was hoping to stay in top 8. Was really looking forward to running in the track championship that. I never thought there would be a rain date. I thought wrong. We could have made the 9th that was 2 weeks but not running the rain date we knew there was no need to get our panties in a not and thrash to get it put together.Denny I did not start any part of the post that rubbed you wrong I answered Jasons question and said what I thought about smaller pay outs. Stop making me the bad guy, I have said many good things about what has came about of late; funny thing no thanks alot from Denny but let me side or say something you dont like and I am A CRY BABY so be it . Good luck guys be safe and thanks for the offers to help us get back to the track. Larry SR

Larry, sorry to hear about your misfortune. It sucks when things don't go as planned and un expected things break for no apparent reason. No one knows this more than I do. Good luck for next year. I also think it is odd that we get a rain date for our last points race and not the other two.
