I was STOKED to see such a great turnout for the class yesterday! I had a blast, that's for certain! Thanks for my crew for the support and help throughout the day, you guys rock! Roger, you're the man for finding the grove. 1.22 with the back tires on a 28x10.5w works for me! Couldn't have done that without the boys over at Race Engineering giving me a hand getting the suspension dialed in.

Damn, guess I shouldnt have left early. But, I was so pissed after some jack-off knocked my camera out of the stands to the ground and broke it that I couldnt stick around any longer.
You guys put on a good show. I was in the stands and the crowd was going nuts when you boys rolled up to the line. E-85 is an excellent class with a bunch of great people in it. Congrats to you all.

Thanks!!! To be honest that makes me feel like I am doing/enjoying my job. Tell her I said hi and (as silly as I feel saying this) Ill get her an autographed picture to her!
Congrats to the Jasons! Carr, you earned it, but I loved seeing you sweat when Steve had an open door!!! Spasoff, it sucked you bumped us, but at eleast you won doing it! Congrats again on the win. We had the closest race I have EVER been in. .028 MOV.
To all, thanks for supporting this class whether you are my wife n kids, a wife or kid, a crew, a sponsor, a track promoter, a fan, photographer, whatever...you ALL had a huge part in this thing being what it was, and that is just plain AWESOME.
I have NEVER been so stressed, wound up, dejected, etc at any race, let alone all of the above at ONE race. I ran US41 personal bests during qualifying and STILL only ended up 9th. Which had possible BIG points implications for us. I had pretty well given up chasing Clark when he went #1, and focused on Spasoff catching me. There were two others I was watching closley, but for some reason I was more focusing on him. Then the ladder came out and we were bound to meet in second round. I had no other jets for the fogger, so we went after some more susp changes to try to pick up a little. They didnt do anything, but believe me, had you came by our pit, it looked liek NASCAR.....my buddies were throwing down while I tried to keep my head straight. I cant complain losing while running US41 personal bests against him. However two weeks prior we went 8.89@150 at GIR. Ill get his car figured out and 2010 is going to be ugly!!!! During rd 1 of qualifying my (mechanical) fan blew apart and destryed the pain on teh hood. Luckily the car does not get hot on a run so we were able to keep moving on without a fan. Not to mention chasing battery issues again, but those worked out.
It was one hell of a night. Basically the top 8 spots or so went all over th place with every round that went by. WE made it back into fourth until the semis. DAMN!
Again thanks to EVERYONE!!!! and I am proud to be a part of the innaugural year!

Very well put Mike, I feel the same way about this class being a great place to race.
Would like to give a Spirit award to Brett H. and that awsome 67 Chevelle. Brett has been with us from the begining to end trying his ass off to get that Chevelle going for each race only to find more problems. And when he goes down he is there helping any and everybody else that he can. Thanks for the help staging the car Brett. I hope we can see ya out there next year!! Let me know if I can help in any way!!

Amen Steve!! He has hepled me out more this year than I could have ever asked for. I hate to get his help in the way I did (due to him breaking), but it does not go unappreciated!!!! If it werent for him I KNOW we wouldnt have done what we did. Moslty keeping my head straight (which is a MAJOR challene sometimes), but we made some tuning calls together that sure worked out this year.
Thanks Pickleman!!!!

Great racing everybody. I had a blast (trying) racing with you guys this year. Probably the best bunch of guys I've ever run a series with before. Looking forward to next year.
Congrats to Jason on the win and Jason for the championship. An index class really evens everything up for everybody. I was especially happy to see small tire stock suspension cars take 4 out of 5 wins and 3 of the top 5 spots in the points. Awesome guys sticking it to those big tire cars.
Another congrats to High Roller for finally getting that pink tank to run good numbers after MANY years of trying. I feel your frustrations, believe me. I burned a piston 1st round of qual on a very safe tuneup. I think the piston had been hitting the head after it got milled earlier in the year and probably couldn't take a nitrous hit. I'll be back next year ready to go.
Thanks for the kind words Steve. You've always been a great help and motivation to one day catch that awesome Vette. You built a great tranny and I hope to get out and abuse it next year. Special thanks to Mike D for all your help and advice over the years. You've been a great friend and racing buddy. Even if nobody goes along, we always have each other to talk to on the long drives home, breaker breaker sob!
Another thanks to Jason Carr and Roger for always coming by and trying to help with my many problems over the year. You guys are great. I gotta keep going with thanks to Duane for organizing all this and giving us a great series to race with. Same for Denny for giving us a chance to come out and try something. I think it is working out pretty good. It was great meeting all of you guys and look forward to racing with you again next year.
